I have so much to say about Abby... but here goes trying to summarize a part of it!

 

Abby was the FIRST girl born on our farm after 2 years of only boys being born here. Abby was the FIRST goat to bear my herd name. Even though we are not supposed to have "favorites" Abby is sure a special girl and she will always have a special place in my heart. She is so very loved. Abby loves to lay her head on my lap and take a nap. She is the first one to come walking over to me anytime I am outside. She gets jealous anytime I pet another goat and not her! She understands humans have 2 hands and thinks both hands should be petting her.

 

All during 2020, I would do homeschool in the barn with Abby on my lap. She follows me everywhere. She loves to have her hoofs rubbed (she is so funny- it is her favorite spot!) She is SO spoiled and SO loved! Abby has lived a lot in her short life and overcome a lot. I am forever grateful I have my Abby.

 

In 2022, Abby had triplets, 2 boys (Brownie + Atlas) and a girl. Her daughter, Mercy is now GCH Meg's Blessings Mercy Set Free 1*M AR. Mercy finished her championship in 2025 as a 3-year-old becoming my first finished champion to bear my herd name! She has won 2 Best in Shows so far. Mercy's daughter won grand champion and best in show the same day Mercy finished!​

As of 2022, Abby is retired and will live out her life with her us!
